Borrowing
Turn up, pick what looks good, take it home for three weeks. That’s the short version.
Here’s everything else you might want to know.

Join
Sign up online via Mibase or in person at any session. Your membership is active as soon as payment goes through.

Visit
Come in during any open session – Tuesday, Thursday or Saturday. No booking needed for standard borrowing. Bring the kids..

Borrow
Browse the collection and choose what you like. Small family members take up to 3 toys + 1 puzzle or game. Large family members take up to 6 toys + 2 puzzles or games. A volunteer checks everything out on the spot.
4
Play
Toys are yours for 21 days. Within 24 hours of getting home, check all the pieces are there, email us if there’s anything missing or broken. We won’t bite – we promise.

Return
Bring them back at any session, in any order. One renewal is available if you’re not done yet. Please don’t leave toys at the door unattended, they need to be checked in by a volunteer.

For families of children with a disability or developmental delay who need a more flexible way to borrow. You don’t have to come onto the floor – browse online, reserve what you want, book your pick up slot and collect from our lockers.
Inclusive borrowing
Allied health professionals are always welcome to browse the catalogue and recommend toys to support goals at home.
How it works
- Bookings open Saturday afternoon to Tuesday morning
- Log in to Mibase, go to “Toys”, search through the toys and reserve
- Keep in mind the size of our lockers. If a toy is too large, we’ll do our best to find a suitable sized match
- We’ll send you an email when the toys are ready to be collected, including the locker number and code to access
- Collect anytime before the following Tuesday
- Return the toys to the locker when your loan period is up!
