Membership to Bendigo Community Toy Library is open to residents of the City of Greater Bendigo and surrounding areas. We are pleased to be able to cater to casual borrowing for grandparents with visiting grandchildren. Our library has a vast toy offering, suitable from birth to school age.
If a member is joining with a child under 12 months old, they will receive 18 months membership for the price of 12 months.
If you need even more of a reason to join us on the committee, we offer the benefit of half price membership for all committee members.

The Toy Library is run by its members. It is condition of membership to do duties. This is the only way the Library is able to operate. General Members will ALWAYS be rostered on with a Committee person. You will be asked to nominate a preferred day to do duty and the roster is always printed in the newsletter and on our website. Newsletters are available at the Toy Library. Current Newsletters are also on the website. It is your responsibility to know when you are rostered on to do duty. If you are unable to do your rostered duty it is your responsibility to try and contact someone else on the roster to swap with you. If you are unable to swap, let the committee member on duty with you know. The committee person is always the first name on each day.
Members are also required to be rostered on to do the annual stocktake during the shut down period just before Christmas, in mid December.
A child is eligible if he/she is of pre-school age at the time of membership payment. Thus, the child may borrow into the prep year, until the end of membership.
If you have any concerns, comments or suggestions, these should be directed to the committee member on duty or to the president.
We aim to make the Bendigo Community Toy Library a friendly and pleasant place. So please be involved at whatever level you can. Remember we are always looking for NEW committee members. Please enjoy the wide range of toys available to your children and enjoy seeing them grow, learn and develop with the help of the toys, games and puzzles from the Bendigo Community Toy Library.
