What Does It Cost To Become A Member?
The cost of membership is as follows:

How Many Toys Can I Borrow?
A Small Family membership may borrow three items; those with a Large Family membership may borrow six items at a time.

How Long Can I Borrow For?
Toys are borrowed for a period of 3 weeks. Toys may be renewed for a further 3 weeks by phone (leave details on the answering machine) or at the library during opening hours.

Can I Renew My Toys?

What If My Toys Are Late?
A fine of $2.00 will be imposed for each session that toys are overdue per week .
Members who cannot return toys by the due date should telephone the Toy Library at anytime and either: speak to someone if the phone is answered or leave your details and request on the answering machine. The borrowing period for these particular toys will be extended once only by a period of 3 weeks.

What If My Child Breaks Or Loses It?
Lost Pieces: a fine of $2.00 is charged for each lost piece (or sum negotiated by committee member if replacement exceeds this). The fine is refunded to member if and when the piece is found and returned.
Lost Toys: Members are required to pay the replacement value for whole toys that are lost. One months grace will be given to locate the toy.
Damaged Toys: We realise toys will be broken through reasonable/expected wear and tear. Should a toy be broken while in your care, please report it to the committee member on duty.

Is The Toy Library Open Over School Holidays?
The toy library is open all year except for public holidays, unless otherwise advised. Opening hours are significantly reduced during summer school holidays.
Announcements relating to reduced times for summer school holidays will be announced on our website and Facebook page.
Are The Toys Clean?
It is the responsibility of the borrower to clean and dry toys before returning them to the toy library.

Are Short Term Memberships Available?
Short term memberships are available. They cost $25 for six weeks. An additional $50 refundable deposit is required.
I Am Not A Member But I Would Like To Hire A Party Pack?
Party packs are only available for hire by toy library members.
Where Is The Toy Library?
Spring Gully Toy library is located at the Corner of Kendall Street and Spring Gully Road, Spring Gully.
Long Gully Toy Library is located at 154 Eaglehawk Road, Long Gully.

Do You Accept Toy Donations?
Toys may be accepted at the discretion of the toy library committee. Please contact the toy library or visit during opening hours. Toys may not be left at the premises without first being accepted by the committee.
